Curriculum Development Programme

Curriculum Intent, Implementation and Impact

AMENDMENT: Please note, the cost of £499 allows schools to send 2 members of staff onto the programme.

The Swindon Teaching Schools are excited to introduce our new Curriculum Development Programme led by Nicolas Garrick of Lighting Up Learning. Designed around OfSTED’s recent inspection framework update, this series of ‘deep dives’ is for leaders of all levels from primary and secondary Headteachers to Subject Leaders, from Department Heads to Curriculum Leaders.

Recent Ofsted findings have suggested; It is clear that it is not good enough for schools to state that they ‘follow the National Curriculum’. It is not enough to simply publish a curriculum map online. We have to look at how teachers are teaching and learners are learning.

Over the 3 sessions, the programme offers leaders a chance to think clearly about their own curriculum intent, implementation and impact.

When

Session 1: 18/12/18

Session 2: 28/02/19

Session 3: 09/05/19

(Please note the dates above as booking ticket will only detail the date for the first session)

For further information please download the flyer; Curriculum Development Programme Flyer

PLEASE NOTE, DUE TO HOW THE PROGRAMME IS DESIGNED, THERE ARE LIMITED SPACES AVAILABLE SO PLEASE BOOK EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.
