Workshop Leader

  • Nicholas Garrick
    Nicholas Garrick is the Director of Lighting Up Learning, Bristol. Described as an energiser and catalyst, Nicholas' skills lie in the empowerment of others to make sustainable change. As an Executive Coach he works with people to explore possibilities and solutions and as facilitator and consultant he looks for potential to create sustainable impact. He leads the School Direct Primary PCGE Programme for the Cabot Learning Federation, and as part-time Assistant Principal, he is dedicated to creating a set of experiences within the curriculum that enable the learners at Wallscourt Farm Academy to be sensitive, independent, confident, competitive global citizens. He also works as part of the British Council School Leadership Team.

Swindon Teaching School has no on-site parking; however, being located centrally in Swindon there is an excellent bus service available. If delegates are driving to the Centre we advise parking at Swindon Football Ground (SatNav SN1 2ED), a 5 minute walk away. Please note this is pay and display. Swindon Football Ground (County Ground) Up to two hours £0.20 2 to 6 hours £2.00 6 to 24 hours £4.00 Do not park in the Merlin pub car park as your car may be clamped. Please note that parking through the blue gates on Plymouth Street is for staff only
